She wasted no time wrapping Augie around her little finger—here she is the day after she arrived playing tug with him. |

She loves to swim and will spend hours in our Wal-Mart special (the best $180 I ever spent). Augie likes to swim, too, but he is a delicate flower and does not like to jump in all at once and get his ears wet. We call this picture “Kitty swim, Augie Chooch” |

Kitty horns in on the family photo - with my 99 year old grandmother. Nanny loves the dogs and enjoys watching them do agility. She even sent the dogs over a few obstacles herself when she was here last summer. |

I named her Terra Nova (new territory) because she is my first ACD. When my excellent level Bull Terrier, Cherry, died at a young age I was left without a dog to compete with in agility. My friend, Kathy Riley took pity on my and lent me her rescue ACD, Billy. I had always admired ACDs, but was reluctant to get one because I was not sure how they would mix in my pack. Well, Billy was great with the other dogs and tons of fun to run in agility, and I decided to jump in and get a puppy myself. In March 2007 Monica and David of Bryn Mawr Australian Cattle Dogs entrusted me with Kitty, who is both the best and worst dog in the world, as any ACD owner can understand. We all adore her, especially her best buddy, Augie. She is cute as a bug, a sensational agility and show girl, and won a puppy group four at her first breed show. We are having a lot of fun with her! |
